If you have a question or query regarding my wedding photography, please don't hesitate to either contact me via the contact form, email, or just give me a ring! I'd be happy to help where ever i can.
However, here are the answers to some commonly asked questions:
Q. How do i book you for our wedding day?
A. Following our initial chat to get to know each other and fully discuss your requirements, and given that you do decide to employ me as your wedding photographer (hurray!) just a £300 deposit is required to secure the day in my diary.
Q. My wedding venue insists that the photographer is fully insured. Do you have the required insurances?
A. I am fully insured for public and private liability.
Q. What happens if theres a fault or breakdown with your camera during the wedding day?
A. I carry three cameras and have at least two of everything else i need...i like to be completely covered for all eventualities!
Q. What is your photography 'style'. I've heard of documentary photographers, is that what you do?
A. Documentary wedding photographers don't take any of the 'formal' bride and groom or group shots, but just document the day, usually in a black and white 'journalistic' style. My photography is a mix of traditional wedding photography and documentary, whereby i like to be in the background for most of the day, taking candid photos with a long lens, as i find that you always get the best expressions that way, but i also make sure that the group shots and some great photos of the bride and groom are captured. I am not a 'pushy' photographer at all, and do not try and impose myself on the guests. After all, most people really don't like having their photo taken, and i'm always conscious of that!
Q. How long after our wedding will our photos be ready?
A. If you don't require an album, usually it takes me about two weeks to fully edit your photos into the best set of images i can provide. I will then present approximately 450 photos to you in a lovely engraved USB pen drive which comes in a beautiful presentation box.
Should you require an album, it takes 6 weeks from ordering the album to delivery.
Q. We want an album of our photographs. Do we get to choose which photos go into the album?
A. Of course. It is your wedding day, and the choice of photographs to be included in your album is completely yours.
Q. Our family and friends may want to see the photos online. Do you have that facility on your website?
A. Yes, as part of your wedding package you receive your own password protected on-line gallery for you, your family and friends to view.
